Stafford to Host CD1 Candidates
Dan Smolen, the new chair of the Stafford Democratic Committee, told attendees at yesterday's regional breakfast of plans to have the three announced candidates for the Democratic nomination in the First Congressional race this year.

The committe has invited the candidates as follows (each has accepted):
- The city's own Shawn O'Donnell will meet with the committee on January 21st (moved from the 14th due to the inauguarion festivities):
- I. C. Smith, a retired FBI special-agent-in-charge, will meet with the committee on February 11th.
- Lorenzo Grant, a retired teacher, will meet with the committee on March 11th.
