In 2012, the regular monthly meetings of the Fredericksburg Democratic Committee will be held on the second Wednesday of each month, beginning in February, from 7:00 to 8:00 PM in meeting room #2 of the CRRL Headquarters building

On Monday, 2012-01-09, Adam Cook (Major, USAFR) announced he is running for Congress in Virginia's 1st Congressional District. Adam recently returned from a tour in Afghanistan serving as a JAG officer in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Adam intends to bring his experience as an Air Force officer to Congress to help find creative solutions to revitalize the economy and create jobs in Virginia.

The biennial reorganization caucus met Saturday, 12 December 2011, and elected twenty-eight members to the 2012-2013 Fredericksburg Democratic Committee.

In accordance with Article 8 of the Virginia Democratic Party Plan, the Fredericksburg Democratic Committee hereby announces that it will hold an assembled caucus beginning at 12:00 noon on Thursday, December 10th, 2011 in the Fredericksburg Circuit Court, 815 Princess Anne Street, for the purpose of electing members to the Fredericksburg Democratic Committee.

On Tuesday, we will re-elect Sen Ed Houck if you and your like-minded friends and family vote.

The city committee is excited to be hosting delegates from all over the first CD as they gather to nominate our candidate for this year's congressional race.

As specified in the Virginia Democratic Party Plan, each local committee reorganizes every two years at the end of the odd-numbered year, carrying over into the beginning of the even-numbered year. Persons wishing to become or remain members of the city committee need to file a form with the chair.

Hillary Clinton) to the First Congressional District Democratic Convention, to be held Saturday, May 17, 2008 from 1:00 until 4:00 PM, at the Williamsburg Marriott, 50 Kingsmill Road, Williamsburg, Virginia 23185, and the Virginia State Democratic Convention, to be held Saturday, June 14, 2008 at 9:00 AM, at the Hampton Roads Convention Center, Hampton, Virginia.
